New and Improved Delivery Areas and Checkout Process

This week we are delighted to announce the release of our new and improved checkout process with detailed and easy-to-use delivery areas and delivery pricing.

Key Highlights

  • Precisely map your delivery zones by drawing them on a map

  • Use distance/radius from Postcode to accurately set your delivery zones

  • Have different delivery zones for different locations in your app

  • Allow customers to change the delivery address, rather than using the account address only

  • Customers can use precise mapping by pin to confirm their delivery location is correct

  • Header in checkout will now display the type of order fulfilment (collection, delivery, table service, and the location of delivery, collection, or table number) to improve the customer journey and prevent any ordering errors

Take a look at some key highlights from the update below

SMS Notifications Now Removed

The outdated SMS Notifications to say you have a new order etc. Have now been removed from the AppBuilders Global Settings, all orders are sent via email and can be linked to a GT90 Goodcom Printer

Update: Navigation menu adjusted.

We always want our platform to provide a intuitive experience for our users. In line with that aim we’ve made some changes to our main navigation bar.

We’ve separated ‘Marketing’ and ‘Analytics’ from ‘Push’ (Formerly Messaging) and ‘Customers’.

We feel this change really will really help users better identify the purpose and use of the sections. Creating a more user engagement focused segment with ‘Push’ and ‘Customers’ intended for you to better connect with your users, and a user acquirement focused segment including the ‘Marketing’ and ‘Analytics’ sections.
